A dark beer with a potent hit of chilli and undertones of chocolate on top of a roasted malt base.

This black beer poured with a stable tight light brown head. The aroma was fruity from the hops with chocolate and coffee from the roasted malts (and chocolate). There was a moderate to low fruity hop bitterness which combines with chilli aftertaste to balance the sweetness of the malt. The chilli is present but does not totally overpower. In fact, it seems quite at home in this perfectly drinkable dark ale.
