How to Store and Pour Bottle Conditioned Beers
Bottle Conditioned beers need a little more care than filtered beers. Here we tell you
Brewery Description
Brewed with 8 different malts, including two brand new malts, smooth coffee and toasted oats, both from Crisp Maltsters in Norfolk. A dark roasted and dehusked malt from the Weyermann Maltings in Germany brings the colour all helped along with a special blend of crystal and roasted varieties. A generous helping of lactose adds sweetness and rounds the beer, this is where the “Milk” in the Milk Stout comes from. The blend of malts gives a rich roasted flavour, with the lactose and toasted oats adding a luxuriously smooth body.
ThirstBourne Tasting Notes
This dark brown stout poured with a stable light brown head. The aroma was smooth creamy chocolate. This translates in to the flavour with a touch of blackcurrant. The mouthfeel is not heavy but weighs in at 7.7% ABV. The finish is also quite dry, making this a very drinkable big stout – you have been warned!!
